toolserver.org provides direct access to Wikipedia’s Database to anyone. Based on this, the community has built several tools that are only waiting to be combined with open government data – and so can you. Want to play with the wealoth of information that is Wikipedia? Just ask.

Daniel Kinzler (geboren 1977) hat in Stuttgart und Leipzig Informatik und Logik studiert. Er begann 2004, Artikel für die Wikipedia zu schreiben, vor allem im Bereich Informatik. Als Programmierer begann er bald, sich für die technischen Aspekte zu interessieren: seit 2005 trägt er gelegentlich zu MediaWiki bei und ist Administrator auf dem Wikimedia Toolserver. Seit 2008 ist er als Entwickler bei Wikimedia Deutschland angestellt.
