Understanding Commons and Peer Production

Open Knowledge and other collaborative initiatives in the realm of information are only one part of the whole story, and that is the commons and peer production. In my talk I want to present an analytical scheme, a taxonomy for different types of »goods«. Based on this taxonomy we are able to understand commonalities and differences of the broad range of commons. And we are able to clearly understand the difference to other social types of producing our livelihood.
